Vaishnavism a glance


In Hindus, there are only two sectors. One is Vaishnavism and the next one is Saivism. Now we will see about the Vaishnava. This Vaishnavism also well known as Vishnuism, one of the most forms of modern Hinduism, this is to have faith or devotion to the god Vishnu and his entire incarnations or avatars. A devotee of Vishnu is called a Vaishnava, and he would worship only Vishnu. 

The devine Vaishnava literature that created in Sanskrit and traditional writings right from the ten  to the sixteen century continues to be a part of Vaishnava worship, though it is often supplemented by later philosophical and narrative texts available in the Vaishnavism It is both written and oral. Vaishnavas are for the absolute reality of Bhrama is manifested in the form of Vishnu, who had births as Rama, Krishna and other more incarnations which is known as Avatars. 

In the avatar of Vishnu was keeping his moral. The most popular avatar of the Vishnu is Rama and Krishna. This Vaishnavism is spread by twelve important persons and they are called as Alwars. Among these twelve Alwars, there is one lady saint is also included. The names of the 12 Alwars Poigai Alvar, Boothathalvar, Periyalvar, Thirumalisai Alvar, Nammalvar, Madurakavi Alvar, Kulashethra Alvar, Pertyalvar, Andal, Thondaradipidi Alvar, Thiruppaan Alvar, Thirumangai Alwar. All these twelve alvars created the 4000 Divya prabandham. In Tamil, it is called as Nalayira Divya prabandham. All these twelve Alwars compiled in its presents from Nathamuni in the 9th and 10th centuries. Even today these hymns are presented by the Vaishnavas every day in all the Vishnu Temples.

In most of the Vaishnavi temples, the idols of these twelve saints are available in the stone. People worship even all these twelve saints. Many people try to take all these 4000 Divya prabandham in their mind and they read every day to keep in the heart. Vishnu is known as Narayana and Vaishnavas are frequently in a day visiting the Narayana Temples. Vaishnavi's believe that they can get their Moksha which is known as salvation only through the Narayana. All these Alvars visited many Vishnu temples and spread the name of Lord Vishnu. Out of these temples, one hundred and eight temples are very important. Many vaishnavis have their goal to visit all these hundred and eight important temples. 


These important temples are called 108 Divya Desam. Out of these 108, important temples eighty-six temples are located in Tamil Nadu, rest of the temples are located in different parts of India. Therefore Vaishnavas in all over the world visit to Tamil Nadu to complete 86 temples out of the 108 important temples for the Vaishnavas. The Vaishnavas believe once the visit all these 108 temples they get the moksha salvation without fail. Many Divya Desam Temples are available in Chennai and very close to Chennai. There is a place called in Tamil Nadu Nangur there are many Divya Desam temples are available even by walk a person could visit all these temples.
